I am Danielle, a Glasgow-based artist and designer. I specialise in creating uplifting, bold, and fun custom artwork designed to brighten your space and celebrate life’s special moments. From bespoke hand-drawn illustrations to premium greeting cards and local kids' art clubs, my mission is to inject color, pattern, and shape into everyday life.

My design journey: From textiles to public art

Studio Paperpattern grew out of my deep love for vibrant design and the community spirit of Glasgow. My background is in printed textiles and digital colouration, which heavily influences how I work today. I lean on this expertise to build the structured patterns, bold palettes, and playful shapes that define my brand.

I love connecting with local families, makers, and art lovers across Scotland to bring creative ideas to life. You can even find my work out in the wild! I am proud to have designed public art for the "Scottie's in the City"Wild in Art trail across Glasgow. You can spot my signature Scottie dog designs spreading joy outside the Maggies office on Dumbarton Road and in the Born In Scotland shop within Buchanan Galleries.

Creative after-school arts & crafts workshops in Glasgow

I believe art should be messy, experimental, and accessible to everyone! To inspire the next generation of creative makers, I host my popular Paperpattern Kids After School Art Club.
I currently run my 4-week workshop blocks in the Woodlands and Anniesland areas, making them perfectly situated for families across Glasgow's West End and northern neighborhoods. In these sessions, I give little artists the space to explore:
  • Color & Shape: Developing visual skills through vibrant painting and drawing.
  • Sculpture & Pattern: Building 3D structures and tactile crafts using professional design concepts made simple.
  • Birthday Parties: I also offer mobile Kids' Arts and Crafts Parties that bring my creative hub straight to your home or venue in Woodlands, Anniesland, and beyond—and I handle all the cleanup!

In addition to my community art clubs, I design a wide range of custom artwork and gifts that I ship worldwide:
